Title and Description Tags

In a few simple steps, you’ll be able to find your websites Title and Description tags.

  1. Right-click anywhere on the page and select “View Page Source.”

  2. A new tab will open in Chrome (in Firefox, it’ll be a pop-up window). The part at the top, or “head” of the page, is where the meta tags would be.

  3. Towards the top of the source code, look for the word “meta”. The amount of tags will vary with each site, and some might not be labeled properly, or at all.
